About Erik: Owner of Infinity Surf Resorts
Erik was born and raised on the coast of Mexico, spending most of his childhood near or in the ocean. With both parents swimming professionally, Erik was naturally exposed to the water at a very young age. At eight years old he started surfing and it was the beginning of a life-long relationship with both surfing and the ocean.
While Erik has explored much of the world, living across North America and also in Europe, he is now re-settled in Mexico. Having surfed in this region since the 90’s, he is part of the first generation of surfers in this area and is committed to preserving the coastlines he’s known since childhood. You’d be hard-pressed to find any other surfer with more experience in the Huatulco region. With over 25 years of surf experience and 15 years of experience offering surf charters in the area, Erik knows every point, every road, and more importantly, every wave and the ideal conditions to make the most of your time surfing the beautiful coast of Oaxaca.
